Last month I asked about Labor rejecting visas for Gazans fleeing the genocide. We now know 150 people were rejected because Labor thought they may not return to Gaza. This was an utterly cold-blooded move, likely condemning innocent people to death. theguardian.com/australia-news…
The government won't say what has happened to these people. We should know if any of the people who were rejected remain in Gaza. The government should review the applications and fast-track the approval of visas for those people to come to Australia urgently.
@SenatorThorpe There is Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Syria, EAU who are much closer and not a single one will accept a Palestinian into their country. Have you asked them why not?
@SenatorThorpe I don't want them here. I want you to do your job. I want you to govern in a way that improves the lives of Australians.
@SenatorThorpe How's the issues in Australia requiring your attention going Lidia?
@SenatorThorpe Do your job, not what you think should be done. Protect Australians first and foremost.
@SenatorThorpe why didn't you ask about the Yemen war, or the Sudan war? Why ONLY the war that involves the Jews? Isn't that curious.
@SenatorThorpe it's a common sense to know that they won't return and you too know that.
@SenatorThorpe No. We don’t the rape apologists in this country
@SenatorThorpe Wow, Labor actually did something right for a change.
