So Michael Gove actually thinks people should go scavenging at their local tip for furniture and other reusable items. Gove’s past expense claims include a £331 armchair, £134 for elephant lamps and £493 for a Manchu cabinet, from a shop owned by David Cameron’s mother-in-law.
