While grateful for the few allies we have, I am every day astonished by lack of global outrage against Taliban's gender aparthied. What does it take for the feminist movements in the region & the world to stand for the rights of girls to go to school? Every day is a day too late
@ShaharzadAkbar Frankly I’m at a loss as to what can be done.
@ShaharzadAkbar Please name the allies that you have
@ShaharzadAkbar Don’t expect anything from white/western feminists. The situation of women in Afghanistan does not match their agenda.
@ShaharzadAkbar Afghan political women 20ys didn't establish meaningful relations wt neither Nationalist Feminists, Socialist Feminists, Realist Feminists, Liberal Feminists, Post-colonial Feminists around world 2 enjoy feminist lobby today. Women elite is failed voice in tradtional Afg. society
@ShaharzadAkbar The world must take a stronger position and act to stop this apartheid regime in Afghanistan. We acted against the regime in RSA by actions, we must now act against the Taliban regime more strongly.
