New data on attitudes toward help for older adults in the U.S. @GSS_NORC In 2012, 17% of respondents felt that government agencies should help older adults w/household tasks (e.g., grocery shopping, laundry); by 2022, 31% felt this way. (data is only descriptive, see notes)

Graduate school visits are long, a bit overwhelming, but SUPER fun! I have met so many amazing people that I am glad to call my future colleagues!
As my first post, I would like to reflect on my Sociology Ph.D application cycle. I applied to 7 schools, was accepted into 3, waitlisted at 1, and rejected by 3. I was also awarded various fellowships and traineeships. To think that I wasn’t going to apply this cycle was crazy!
