RIP Sinead O'Connor. I wrote about her in my first book because she's the rare artist for whom the phrase "ahead of her time" is not hyperbole. Everything she was criticized for in the 90s she was absolutely right about. Also, a truly startling singer & writer. I wish her peace.

VAR is the result of fans, coaches and players, collectively, not having the emotional capacity to accept "incorrect" decisions go against their team. Football's rules are fluid and subjective. Officials are human and sometimes, below-par. The solution is not more officiating.

These idiots had no idea how lucky they were that Bielsa decided to accept the challenge of Leeds. Mid table Champ to 9th in the PL. They thought it was their decision making, not Bielsa’s work that was the cause. It wasn’t & everything since then (&before) has shown it. #lufc
