I'm slightly still new here, I thought I already replied to this😅🙏🏽 I understand it was not technically doctrine, and i never implied as such because i know it wasn't. but it was definitely treated as doctrine nonetheless which is why you have to say, "But look at Fiji". This is why I like Brigham Young; at least he was unapologetically loud & proud, told you what he thought and why. He didn't mince words; right or wrong he stood firm. And if restriction was as lax or not widespread as you would posture, then why was there a revelation to remove the ban in the 1st place in 1978? What was it actually that Pres Kimbell said was what prompted him and others to pray for this revelation? He said "ever-increasing numbers". Not because he thought all people were equal, but because of numbers.
