The smear artists @washingtonpost are writing yet another hit piece attacking me for serving my country—even asking questions about my medical history and demanding my personal records. I'm done playing the liberal media's game—here's how DC "reporters" treat veterans.
And get this—after sending my campaign a 1000+ word email trying to discredit every aspect of my service, then they only give you 24 hours to respond. It’s a joke. Everyone knows they would NEVER question a decorated combat veteran if they were a Democrat.
I was PROUD to serve with so many brave men and women who put their lives on the line for our country. @jontester and Chuck Schumer should immediately denounce these disgusting attacks & @isaacstanbecker should look forward to getting to know my lawyers.
The press is even raising questions about my Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor. I was there when we were under fire from the enemy, and I led the rescue operations in total disregard for my own safety because it was the right thing to do. I was there for the IED blast. Now the @washingtonpost is trying to twist it into “stolen valor!?”
@SheehyforMT 'Total disregard for my own safety' makes you a train wreck of a team member.
Director of Navy staff isn’t going to sign for a Purple Heart plus the spacing is all off and Purple Heart isn’t supposed to raised up like that. It should be just colored part of the paper and the navy seal in gold is missing in the middle center at the way bottom. Like I said there should be two signatures on both sides too. Unit commander who would be some kind of admiral and of special naval warfare (I wasn’t navy) and the other signature someone high up in Washington which would be another admiral but not some staffer
Someone who really earned medals like that does not talk with that kind of language. I have plenty of buddies who have medals and they never talk about themselves. You don’t need to defend yourself if you have those kind of medals. Your buddies will be there for you in a heart beat
Wow. Thank you for you all who led me to actually reading the citation. So this guy did all this and only qualified for bronze star with v he should have gotten silver star if this happened. The operation he’s leading is codenamed trident which ironically is what every navy seal is identified by wearing a trident but never during combat operations especially recon. Why would a seal team have a combined recon patrol with any other military branch? If you were this would be some kind of jsoc operation and it wouldn’t be a recon patrol it would you know where the event is and you’re taking them out. And all of this would be super duper classified like every sentence redacted and Sheehy wouldn’t even be his real name on the documents because of how classified this mission is. First of all any kind of recon a seal team would do is classified and it’s because they’re going to catch a big fish not just to patrol like some regular army advanced patrol. If you’re out on a classified recon mission this whole citation is just like wow crazy. If you’re a seal team doing a recon mission you have a fireteam with you. Low pro so you can get the heck out of there in case the mission gets fubar. The medic on the team isn’t a medic there’s no medics in the navy only corpsmen even in the seals. And all these guys would all be pros at land nav in case which they would never allow themselves to get seperated. There’s so many holes in this citation. If they’re in a river valley in Afghanistan they’re not just going to call in a helo for evac. They’re going to have to have either marine cobra attack helicopters or apaches because the mountains will be crawling with hundreds to thousands of talibans in the mountain cave systems. Plus on top of that they would have at least 2 shinooks coming in with platoon sized team members and marines who are on qrf. And as a team leader especially a lieutenant there’s no way no one will or would ever re arm, from where?, go out and without at least a fireteam (which that will never happen/ especially in Afghanistan. By that time its mission get the hell out with everyone there’s no time to oh wait let me go get some revenge kills) and if he did all that the corpsman wouldn’t have waited just to let the lt personally carry the other team member onto the awaiting helo, that guy would haves been in the helo already. This guy might be a good guy and trying to do some change for Montana by voting for him because he’s Republican. But if you can fall for this guys lies already and then attack a guy who’s trying to tell you there’s something super suspect on this guys medals and citations but you all have never trained for these kind of combat scenario’s at least and at best know how the terrain is in Afghanistan and studied numerous battles especially when you’re in a terrrorist network backyard which is like an entire country then you’re going to vote for a man that’s going to bring damage and loss to your state. He might be an outstanding firefighter but he doesn’t even know how to type up a believable citation. I’m not even mad I’m just at a loss for words of what’s going on through that guys head. Either that or jokes on all of us and we’re stuck in the middle of a huge psy op
@SheehyforMT But now we can't believe anything you say. You know that's what happens when people lie.
@SheehyforMT More like robbing valor, which is what they are trying to do to you
@SheehyforMT what about how you lied about the bullet in your arm being from afghanistan when actually you show yourself while hiking in a national park in montana
That Purple Heart is a signature short and on the wrong type of paper plus there’s supposed to be shading in certain places in the print and a specific type of font in certain areas. Plus you’ll never see a Teams guy flashing his medals. I have actually seen low budget films spend more money getting those kind of awards faked
