MiniMax's new M3.1 Flash gets more facts right than DeepSeek's cheap rival, 56% vs 43%, says Artificial Analysis. But 93% of its wrong answers are confident guesses, not "I don't know." Good for coding and agents. Skip it for research you can't double-check yourself.
FLUX 3 Image Klein runs on an 8GB GPU in INT8, says @bfl_ai. The model card adds a catch: don't skip the prompt upsampler, or short prompts come out generic. Theirs is a separate 9B model that needs about 28GB more. On 8GB, use any LLM with BFL's system prompt instead.
