She’s smiling at least, Feeling the fluttering butterflies, Learning to love differently, And if she’s feeling that warmth in her happiness then she’s really smiling inside too. That’s all I wanted to see for her.

Her platform I was too busy enjoying the night away with her. Waiting for the train, slightly hoping it would delay. I could see the deep look in her eyes, sensing in the moment it would be our last time. On my departure, we never said our goodbyes, but it felt like our very end
