The First National Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases Conference will be held under the theme: “Unified Action Against Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases in Uganda” Date: November 3–7, 2025 Venue: Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, Kampala Chief Guest: Minister of Health, @JaneRuth_Aceng The conference aims to: 1. Share evidence, innovations and best practices for integrated communicable disease and non communicable disease prevention, surveillance and control. 2. Review progress and inform national strategic plans for communicable and non-communicable diseases. 3. Strengthen linkages across programmes, sectors, and disciplines, including One Health and zoonotic disease control. 4. Promote evidence-to-policy translation and build consensus on practical, scalable solutions. 5. Enhance partnerships among policymakers, researchers, implementers, and communities, in support of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
