I feel like I just used my brain. Here is a one knob DJ style filter in @UnfilteredAudio BYOME. When the "Filter" macro is below 50%, it opens a LP filter, above 50% it opens a HP filter, with a completely dry sound at exactly 50%.

More @UnfilteredAudio BYOME stuff: soundcloud.com/deltasign/byom… This one is a little bit more conventional. The trigger sequencer is used to trigger a filter envelope in sync with the originally boring saw sequence, turning it into a trancy acid line.
