@Benedict_Farse @SimonGetsFit @JoeWarnerUK Ha! I thought that was as good as a DM!
@JoeWarnerUK I have 2 Qs! Is it helpful/possible (on 12WeekProg) to train every day (upper/lower split)? Or, if not, do HIIT on off days?
@martin_carr Hello there. Just wanted to say, my wife is more jealous of my personal Fitness Goat than anything else I’ve ever had or done.
Diet wise however a few carbs have crept in. A beer here, a wine there. I hollowed out my pie crust on Sunday though.
So - here goes. One week (and a day) in - no gym sessions missed, early morning power walk every day and a few bike rides.
if any of you are await fitness updates, I apologise, I have not been posting as often as I should. Or indeed at all.
I should say that when I say "no fags" I haven't smoked since 1993, but still.
Other than that, all good. Roast beef and boiled eggs for breakfast. Four different supplements. No fags, and just one small glass of wine.
and the like. I lost my pencil once and had a bit of a run in with someone else who barged in on a machine I had bagsied.
Today was upper body day. Chin ups (assisted), benchery,
Stay tuned for developments as and when they happen. x
Those are may aims and I commend them to the house. The book says I should be able to do that in Twelve Weeks of Hell.
And finally - eyebrows and whistles. High and low respectively. The most subjective but ultimately most important signifiers of success.
I can also not bench in any meaningful sense of the word. I want to bench. Numbers will come later on this one. See also - Squat.
I can currently do NO (0) chin ups, without some sort of bouncy support mechanism. This needs to go up, to at least TEN (10).
This too should fall - in fact I am COMMITTED to maintaining the regime until I get a SINGLE FIGURE RESULT THREE DAYS IN A ROW.
Body fat percentage - according to the machine in the bathroom which uses some kind of dubious voodoo to hazard a guess, I am 21% FAT.
Other vital statistics are under attack however. Bodyweight - currently 82kgs. (I apologise for mixing measures). This should FALL.
