It's interesting that we are meant to feel sorry for the Leave voters who "didn't get the Brexit they voted for" but not the Remain voters who didn't want the Brexit they got. There's an unsatisfactory asymmetry here.

@SimonUbsdell Unsatisfactory: ▪️It's interesting that we are meant to feel sorry for the Leave voters who "didn't get the #Brexit they voted for" ▪️But not the #Remain voters who didn't want the Brexit they got.
@SimonUbsdell @13sarahmurphy Being one of the 48.1% who knew Brexit was a bad idea, I don't feel sorry for those who voted for it or those who denied it was meant to only be an advisory vote and just accepted it. Shoulda given Corbyn a chance to do it right if it had to happen.
@SimonUbsdell @TallboyAndy I don't feel sorry for any Leave voters.
@SimonUbsdell Leave voters get no sympathy from me whatsoever
@SimonUbsdell The odd thing is some who voted out claim this is the Brexit they wanted. I feel sorry for us as a country, we have become so divided, hate flows like water. We lack leadership, have a weak opposition. I fear a winter of discontent is coming, what a mess.
@SimonUbsdell 2 things made Brexit worse - lockdowns and govt adoption of Brexit ethos restricting foreign workers even when we needed them.Brexit was always going to be bad initially, but the main good thing about the EU is free trade only that ought to be free.
@SimonUbsdell @MetalMummy37 The Union will break, England will have to change.
