One of my business school professors said that most people make an emotional decision about buying a house after seeing a small number of options. We spend more time researching our new phone than on a life-changing decision. Need to use our heads along with our hearts.

I think the entire narrative of personal finance in 2019 needs to shift from the fantasy of wealth (via investment) to the reality of financial resiliency and debt freedom. Forget about being rich and focus on being happy.
