Okay. I'm only on ep3 of Babylon 5, but so far it feels like a low rent DS9. I think it's the acting. DS9 had a surfeit of incredibly talented actors, necessary to sell the sci fi premises. On a more subjective level, there's no one for me to crush on. I'll keep going though.

What we gen-xers think of as 100 year old technology: hand water pumps, buckboards, horse & saddle. What technology was 100 years ago: All-metal mono-wing aircraft, closed-body automobiles, radio, air-conditioning, (experimental) television. Time is a funny thing.
tbh the Sisters of Battle should be just as developed as the Space Marines. If you're gonna have gender exclusive factions at least give them equal attention. As it stands the Sisters are woefully underdeveloped, which I think is one of the main reasons behind why people want -
- female space marines: the Marines are always center stage and have by far the most lore out of any of the Imperium's factions. Sisters often play a supporting role to the Marines and don't get NEARLY as much attention as the Marines. Hell, in most stories where they're not -
- the main focus they're straight up just token female characters. Even the literal leader, Morvenn Vahl, who is a *high lord of Terra,* is so underdeveloped that she's a token character as well. Genuinely why is there no outrage about this? They deserve so much more attention.
I know it was only a few days ago that I was ruthlessly shitting on the Sisters but I've given them a second chance and really fallen in love with em... which has unfortunately just led to being disappointed. It is what it is I guess.
Just for the record I think it'd be useful to clarify my stance on FSM I really don't care all too much. If they're added, sweet. If they're not added, that's cool too.
