@aozedong Would you disagree that folks should be working to make the two almost synonymous?

This is the idea of Harlem Solidarity & Defense. Its food distribution is meant to support the work they do with tenants, which is where power is built. By making the food distro secondary to the tenant work, you prevent against economism while still building community networks

Been thinking a lot about the dialectic between destruction and construction lately. Tearing down incorrect ideas to make room for new ones being put forward. Attacking capital while building community networks and meeting material needs to better prepare for more offensive

Landlords are slippery as fuck and will try anything to squeeze profit out of their tenants even if it’s not legal. Everyone be sure to watch out for these slimy tactics. And they do it so casually too it’s nauseating 🤢🤮

Soooo, we already sent in notice to say we aren’t renewing the lease, but apparently we were also supposed to call the leasing office to tell them we’re moving out 60 days in advance. Since we didn’t, we won’t get back our full security deposit. ALAB - all landlords are bastards

@bennykoval 1 of our members went through this. Check ur lease for a renewal clause. Many times they are either not legally legitimate or not in the lease at all. The landlord did not show up to court when our member sued for the deposit back and they won by default. Hope it works out for u

MLs and MLMs in academia: without compromising security can you tell us what are you doing to organize folks? How are you getting students out of the classrooms and into communities? Are you planning on doing that? Why or why not?

Great to meet today in my office with California AIPAC leaders to discuss the need for a strong U.S.-Israel alliance, the right of Israel to defend itself, and my commitment to combat anti-Semitism in our country and around the world.
