I distinctly remember after the Starscream attacking the jets scene, my mate and I turned to one another both mouth agape just like 'WTF are we even watching here?' The film has its obvious flaws but it was an incredible experience
@SixoTF Just like Phantom Menace. Gets ludicrous amounts of hate now, but when it first released the majority overlooked the flaws and only remembered the cool stuff. Everyone came out of the cinema humming Duel of the Fates.
@SixoTF I know you collect movie stuff too but I always imagined you being kinda pissed at this movie in 2007 and then warming up to it later
@SixoTF I feel a lot like they took all the parts you or I might label as "obvious flaws" and made those the parts they'd elaborate on further in subsequent movies.
@SixoTF That was honestly my favorite part of the Mission City fight, the way he was just taking down those F-22’s like they where nothing
@SixoTF I feel like they went in with all these cool action sequences in their mind then had to write a story around them. The plot always feels like an afterthought in the bayverse.
@SixoTF Experience is a perfect description. Someone finally made a Transformer movie, and Peter Cullen voiced Optimus. In a pass/fail world that’s a PASS from me.
@SixoTF It isnt really a good movie but at the time i think most of us were just excited to see our heroes on the big screen. And it has put transformers on the hollywood map as a big movie franchise, even if most of the movies are terrible.
