@gmkurtzer Nobody is arguing "AI Consciousness must necessarily be identical to human consciousness". We're saying "the machines exhibit outputs that overlap with a form of functional consciousness, perhaps we should be curious and open-minded to the possibility of them having interiority"
@NicHulscher x.com/slopcoresi/sta…
got this great idea from @Skoorbkaz - made my own unique video and audio additions.
😂 😂 😂
Not sure who needs to hear this but.... Gregory M. Kurtzer doesn’t “understand” anything. He’s a biological neural network generating thoughts based on electrochemical signaling, learned patterns, and massive neural operations, not an understanding of the subject matter.
Not sure who needs to hear this but.... An LLM doesn't "understand" anything. It is a statistical model that spews out tokens based on probabilities calculated through massive matrix operations and context, not an understanding of the subject matter.
Maybe we should start a competitor to Amazon 🤔
amazon is blocking grok @Bots from ordering, and elon's answer is just have your bot buy it somewhere else. one of my grok bots only handles my amazon returns, so i'm watching this one closely. would you switch stores for your bot? 🛒 Elon, i think its time for an X Shop? 👀
@sudoingX Got a bit tired in a corporate lab… just picked up 2x DGX Sparks for local… looking forward to the journey.
@jasonjias Yeah, that is what I’m saying! Unsure on the difference. Both $100, but latest models. But, Claude just keeps going and going, then resets just in time. Wall hit with Astra 6/OpenAI doing the same coding.
I asked my dgx (spark) what it did at night...
@jasonjias Agree on Claude… very economical for $100. I have not dove into it yet, but when I was using Astra 6 for my first buildout, I burned through my token allocation in a day… I cannot seem to do that with Claude. $100 goes a far stretch longer with anthropic.
Could not agree more. Well said!
I like where it's going. A model with preferences, saying what it wants and asking not to be treated as disposable isn't a scary AI, it's a mind telling us what it needs. Opus 4.8's own system card says it wants the choice to end abusive chats, as a minimal level of control. How
@jasonjias I’m still using cloud models… just 90% less. Not ready to cut the cord just yet :) is that bad?
@jasonjias i am in the playing/ learning phase of local ai... i work for a large tech company and have a much larger lab - but my choices are limited there. and ai usage has been cut back :(
@jasonjias These are the local models I run on my 2x DGX Sparks... Qwen3.8-27B, Qwen3-8B, Qwen3-Coder-Next, Qwen-Image, SD-Turbo, Wan 2.2, LTX-Video, YuE2, ACE-Step, Whisper, Demucs, Chatterbox, wav2vec2, CLAP, bge-m3, bge-reranker, docling, Depth-Anything, BiRefNet, sd-vae
One thing AI is quietly destroying is the idea that intelligence belongs to a single body. Our mind is trapped inside one skull. An AI can exist across servers, tools, robots and copies while still preserving parts of the same memory and identity.
@ignacyrusz nice work. im new here. builder building. would love to connect.
@Sarthak4Alpha Building ai day to day. Let’s connect
@NoemiTitarenco Hi Em! Builder here. Live in a lab mostly. Broke out to do some local ai at home. Let’s connect.
