Whenever patients express their frustration on how long the NHS waitlist is or how difficult it is to get an appointment with a GP I often ask them what they have done about it and when they say nothing, I signpost them to their local MP surgery 👍🏾 Make your MP work for you

Barriers created in healthcare services cause “lack of engagement” not patients. Maybe rather than “how do we reach them” it’s “how do we redesign so they can reach us?”
