The WIP menu in my #pico8 game, #OblivionEve. When starting a new run, you can choose between one of 5 different weapons, and the difficulty. In addition, you can read over the pages of lore that you collect during gameplay, to get a better understanding of the backstory.

In #OblivionEve, if you have enough meter, you can transform into powerful new forms - which grant increased offense and mobility! This power isn't free, though - building your meter in the first place requires you to perform long combos! #pico8 #gamedev #indiedev #roguelike
