@IwriteOK Do you feel you have ever made a regrettable choice in how you covered something?
@SmashedEars I've gotten stuff wrong sure, and I made complicated choices. At one point a fixer asked me not to report on a specific detail because it would have endangered their safety and ability to keep working. I honored that request. It was a complicated choice.
@IwriteOK I know it's tough work. I only asked because as years pass, we gain clarity, and often can more accurately judge our previous choices.
@IwriteOK I know I've left out details in reporting that people might think are important, but they are epicly complicated to fully explain and space is limited. Presenting all of reality is impossible. Packaging it necessarily means leaving things out.
@IwriteOK Our second season of After the Uprising is coming out June 9th, and boy howdy, 2.5 years worth of work, hundreds of hours of interviews, thousands of pages of documents. Choices have to be made, and they all open you up to criticism.
