Greek Gods: Here is a box with stuff in it. As long as you don’t open the box, you’ll have a great life. Me: Okay cool! Gods: Ya know, there’s interesting stuff in there. Aren’t you curious? Me: Nope! Doesn’t it look cute as an end table? Gods: ...Well what do we do now?

does anyone else try to save the best bite of a meal for last? and then when you have a really good bite really close to the end of eating, you're actually sad because that means it can't be the last one?

before a writer can start edits, they first must: - bake something from scratch - deep clean the house - rearrange a bookshelf - maybe buy a book or seven as a pre-reward - lie down all comfy on the carpet and have a little crisis - tweet so everyone knows they're editing - edit

reasons why writers are tired - our books have to be rewritten like 700 times - we just finished being 16 characters at once and none of them napped enough - still not being sponsored by a bakery yet - books are full of words and YOU have to keep thinking them up???
