🚨 Important Update 🚨 Snapdrop.net was acquired by a company with unclear security & privacy practices. To keep users safe, the Snapdrop Android app will no longer support it and will now exclusively use PairDrop. Thanks for your understanding! 🙏

From time to time users ask us why snapdrop servers are down. We can't do anything about it, despite recommending to try pairdrop.net You can switch between both server URLs via the settings of our app.

Google has finally brought Nearby Share to Windows. It's not yet available in all regions, but the user experience between Android and Windows is really awesome. Well done, Google! android.com/better-togethe… Nevertheless, we'll continue to develop "Snapdrop for Android" for you 🫶

We apologize for the frequent down-times recently. Currently, all requests are routed through one and the same server, and it doesn't seem to handle such large user traffic properly. However, decentralizing this architecture is quite a complex task. We are aware of it, sorry!🙏
