Should you stop signing once a child replaces it with a word? No! ❌ It's important to keep using signs alongside words to help your child make the next steps. If you stop using the signs with the words too early it can cause your child's communicative abilities to regress 🙊
Did you know...? Using Makaton to accompany you singing and telling stories is a great way to get your littles ones used to the signs. The repetition and tone of voice really attracts their attention. Here's one of our favourite songs from class! #makaton #hearmyvoice

@Telegraph I’m pro choice but women are being railroaded into terminations because of a high chance of DS. Fed up of hearing about the tragedy of ‘perfect’ children being terminated. I have a ‘happy, beautiful, perfect, healthy child’ who happens to have DS as well.
