I thought we were getting the ‘85 Bears for the #MiamiHeat defensively. Instead we’ve gotten a Big 12 defense circa 2006. I know it’s only two games. Not time to worry. But still… solving a soft defense *and* a clunky offense is probably gonna take till January.

I take back every bad thing I ever said about Victor Mesa. I am changing into my sack cloth. @WillManso

@schadjoe With maybe the exception of Texas, it’s no biggie now.

Florida State has taken away the middle of the field and it’s been check down city for Mensah. I have a feeling Miami goes ahead in the 4th quarter and still might cover.

I can’t believe I live in a world where there’s actual talk of benching Shohei Ohtani in a playoff game.

@MathiasMejia_ Nowhere near time to panic. It’s October. Offense has been a bit clunky. They’ll figure it out.

@WillManso And being in a crappy division with a lot of other low payroll teams. Although… the Rays have managed to consistently do it in the same division as the Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays.

Jamar Chase is playing hurt. When healthy, that’s a TD.

Have the Dolphins made some personnel changes on special teams? Looks like fewer starters.

I know this goes against a lot of Marlins fans orthodoxy but I miss Jazz Chisholm about as much as I miss getting my braces tightened in high school.

@ChrisVannini Na. You could’ve written this exact same tweet 10 years ago. The College Football intelligentsia have had the Doomsday Clock at 11:59 p.m. for years now. And yet the sport is motoring right along.

These last two games are ones the Cats would’ve lost last season in regulation. These points are gonna matter come spring. #FlaPanthers

@IraHeatBeat Any word on Directv in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami market? Right now, WPLG is not available.

@flasportsbuzz Quick NBA question. I have Directv and live in Broward. Right now, I can't get WPLG. Will that change or will I have to pay for streaming?
