During #SocialWorkWeek2024 we took the opportunity to explore, learn and reflect on the emerging themes and trends arising from concerns raised with us as the specialist regulator of social work in England. Our fitness to practise process: ow.ly/wuKa50Rbuja
Hey @SocialWorkEng Do you really think your 'fitness to practise' processes are actually fit for practice? There are a number of social workers we are aware of at @ebswa, who have been investigated by you for social media posts that are 100% in line with the #CassReview. Are you going to continue to investigate brave whistle blowers who stand for evidence based approach when it comes to working with gender confused children?
@SocialWorkEng Did your reflections include reflecting on the reputational damage done to your FtP processes as a result of the damning findings of the Rachel Meade employment tribunal?
@SocialWorkEng You'd think that @SocialWorkEng would have learnt some lessons from their recent court case loss. Socially transitioning children is NOT a neutral act. Teach children to love and accept their bodies.
@SocialWorkEng Any thoughts on SWEng fitness to practice in light of Cass Review? Time to reflect on why SWEng choses to discipline Social Workers who question the evidence base for supporting child transition. Who regulates the regulator?
@SocialWorkEng I don't see anything about considering the motivation of the individual raising the concern. You were found to be at fault for not doing so in Rachel Meade's Employment Tribunal. Don't you think you should address that to avoid further unlawful harassment of social workers?
@SocialWorkEng Oh here was me thinking this was a post of your statement on @thecassreview
@SocialWorkEng I concur completely with the comments on here. Do you finally intend to abandon the harmful, activist-led approach that you have used to bully the brave social workers who have stood up for safeguarding?
