Two and a half weeks out of surgery and I’m starting to feel normal. Like I haven’t felt this great in 16 years great! I have energy, my hormones are balancing, and I’m not in pain! I have some of the greatest friends in the world. I’m incredibly blessed.

Two weeks out surgery and I climbed Bell Rock with the help of some fantastic people. Made it to the top.

Day 5 post surgery, had a small setback with pain. I’ve been waking around and probably over did it yesterday and one of my scars is draining a little more than before. I’ve also been working from home so I think I’ll take it easier tomorrow. This time Maddie’s forcing rest.

Lucy making me rest. Still bloated and feeling foggy but less pain and more energy. On estrogen patch. So far, I’ve slept more and better than in 5 years and I am craving apples, which I’ve never been too fond of.

4 days post laparoscopic surgery and already taken showers, walked, watered the garden, swept the deck, and am down to Tylenol and Aleve once a day.

After years of lower abdominal pain with what was originally diagnosed as either endometriosis or fibroids or adhesions from c-sections, I decided I had enough and had my ovaries and my uterus removed last Wednesday. Decided to share it with the world at large. This is my story.
