I don't agree with @elonmusk on all things, but I agree here. We have a crisis of the uninformed in United States. Where our most prestigious universities are producing the dumbest students without the ability to critically think. Where most mass stream media propagate a narrative not based on facts.

You’re right about the uninformed, but you’re focused on the wrong group. Only a tiny fraction of college students are protesting. That’s not an indictment of our educational system. 3/10 republicans believe Jan 6th was an FBI-led false flag operation. That is an indictment of the media and our political leaders.
@SpencerGuard @elonmusk Elon isn't wrong on most things, even when you disagree with him
@SpencerGuard @elonmusk Well, yeah, but their endowments are booming!
@SpencerGuard @elonmusk His platform X is one of the worst offenders! People post hate and lies and reports aren’t upheld! The false claim of genocide gets free play on X over and over again. People post false reports from Gaza without any review for accuracy or evidence of any kind!
Details of the escape of the largest American aircraft carrier from the Red Sea in fear of Yemen’s missiles and drones Yemen is doing the impossible, which has terrified the world's ruling systems The shocking truth is revealed: the American forces are weak and have never fought a real war since the end of World War II
@SpencerGuard @elonmusk College students in the humanities are being told what to think and that almost all opinions are valid.
Hm, allow me Mr Spencer to disagree in one point (I usually agree with all your analyses) - Might these students exactly know what they are doing? They seems to have a clear wish, or plan?, to disrupt a college in order to undermine its standing (perhaps with the help of some invisible hand, that is, non-students). Certainly, not all students currently on strike and demonstrating have a political plan, but “the leaders” might be more cunning, they might have worked out how to win against weak academic governance and a generally distracted American political class. They had years of ‘freedom’ during which they could discuss their “revolution”, they could enrol in courses with little academic value and undisturbed by administrators and head-of-departments. What is happening on US campuses right now, happened in the 1970s in Europe - a kind of urban fighting with universities turned into HQs. Those years are described as the “years of lead”. (They might return in Europe too). Now how can the genie 🧞♀️ be put back into the bottle? We are living in a new age of war (which you have often spoken about or posted up on X) - how can this not have an influence on those who think that they are the ‘victims’? That they have to fight back? It’s scary.
@SpencerGuard @elonmusk The lies being told about Israel, Palestine and the Jewish people in American universities are unconscionable
