@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @phil_spvrs @BroiElijah @borednoz @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights It seems that canon events passed onto miles after Peter dies. Peter dies and thag wasn’t supposed to happen but since he died the cannon events shifted to miles since he was now the only Spider-Man in 1610. But there’s many plot holes in this theory.
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights because they are being forced upon him?
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights 1. Canon 2. Contrivances don’t prove anything.
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights I find it so funny that anyone listens to Miguel at all when by his own logic he’s the worst of anomalies. And speaking of “what’s supposed to happen…” if it happens doesn’t that mean it was supposed to? Regardless of where the spider came from. Did I miss some time travel?
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights Because Miguel is wrong...... that's literally it. Literally, the whole movie shows how Miguel has the wrong idea of how "canon events" work. And this incorrect idea mostly springs from the guilt and trauma he assigns himself after the alternate 2099 Earth gets destroyed.
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights He doesn't have cannon events. He's an anomaly to which the multiverse is attempting to balance out. The spider was from a different dimension. Morales is not meant to be spider-man. Canonically this was solved by the whole ultimate universe collapsing
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights Because his world tries to correct itself, I swear that is literally said in the film? Or smth like that
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights Haven't seen the movie in a minute but did they say who the spider WAS supposed to bite if not him? That's a pretty big need if that's the narrative they want to push onto miles.
@Spiderverse1610 @philiplord @GhostflowerMG @BroiElijah @shameikmoore @Jdm_car_lights It's probably because Miguel is using it to justify his actions at this point, he probably genuinely believes that's his actions are right no matter what anyone says.
