DOGE did. DOGE personnel had actually approved the continued funding. The judge found that Musk, Kristi Noem, and other senior officials were part of a coordinated campaign to spread accusations about Comans that they knew were false. THAT THEY KNEW WERE FALSE. He described Musk’s conduct as “state sanctioned intimidation.” But this part of the ruling really stuck with me. “For reasons unfathomable to this Court, officials chose to turn the power of the federal government against a singular employee with an impeccable record of public service.” “an impeccable record of public service” A woman who spent 21 years serving the federal government was publicly accused of criminal wrongdoing, fired, and had her reputation dragged through the mud. All over payments she didn’t authorize, and that DOGE actually approved. Who’s being held accountable for what happened to that poor woman?
