Splendor @SplendorSun

@Romy_Holland Overindulgence in base pleasures is generally a product of poor character. Being a slut is not really any different in principle from being obese. Strength of character is having temperance and dignifying your will over your appetites.

@KarlieInCali The point of the anti-abortion stance is in regards to not killing the fetus. If the fetus is already dead, then regardless of the procedure being the same, it has no bearing on the actual abortion debate, just matters of clarity surrounding abortion law.

@varrock Obamacare rolled out with an individual mandate clause, requiring everybody to have health insurance under threat of (I believe) a tax penalty. Healthcare providers saw that individuals could no longer fail to afford higher prices, and took advantage of the blank check.

@MiiChan1996_ @SpaceWalkerReal It's an amorphous, ends-oriented blob for which the only thing that matters is the goal. There are no necessary principles to adhere to along the way, the goal is the only principle.

@JezziiB Yes. A private citizen with no elected authority. So why are you suggesting he's obligated to provide military aid to another country? Shouldn't you want him out of foreign affairs entirely?

@Floridamarx You seem to have forgotten that the means of production didn't actually spontaneously generate. They were a product of an investment that the workers didn't participate in. If you're mad at anything, be mad at bailouts that unfairly mitigate the risk of that investment

@dissidentwest Nothing makes Americans content with the current administration quite like infinite sand wars

@custardlake So what you're saying is that we shouldn't trust their mere testimony, and it's reasonable to expect proof before assuming their claim is true?

@UziCryptoo Gone 😃

@fleshsimulator You have to hire a guy whose whole job is to stand outside the HQ wearing a black and white striped sweater and a flatcap

@ChristianHeiens The entire purpose of the social contract is to say "We have the biggest stick but we'd rather not swing it, so you'd best negotiate." If they're done with negotiating, then there's nothing left to do but swing. My bets are on the people who believe in private gun ownership

@fleshsimulator Can't wait to see how he'll be intentionally obtuse to the big picture with this one

You're singling out violent crime as though being a general extreme ideological dissident as somebody who doesn't already have a right to our political process isn't on its own disqualifying. And countries exist because social contracts are localized geographically along various strata including ideological, theological, ethnic, etc grounds and splitting them up into localities where people don't have to kill each other to settle their differences because they're similar enough is practical. Over time, the power monopoly that arises from this historical social contract creates a sort of societal and geographical inertia that defines borders and willingness to tolerate some fundamental differences. But you know that already, you're just being a dweeb with that question.

@CallMeVincenzoS @wanted4mogging I wouldn't bet against you being a doughboy who can't bench bodyweight

@fleshsimulator I'm kind of a fleshball

@reddit_lies Okay, I'll give it to em, this one is a little funny

@ShitpostRock They are only confident when they can abuse rules of engagement or otherwise attack people who can't meaningfully fight back. Leftist ideology cultivates physical ineptitude. These doughboys lose an actual fight every time

@vvslavavv @Rame_724 @ChristianHeiens I don't even have to. Your assertion is that polls and prediction markets are bulletproof institutions that can never, ever be manipulated to suit an agenda. That's idiotic, and I don't need a source to tell you so. You're being blatantly bad faith so this is my last reply

@vvslavavv @Rame_724 @ChristianHeiens Alright lol you're not taking this seriously so enjoy your day

@favelaoverlord Man, do it, I've enjoyed your other write ups. Can you include some thoughts on if it we disallowed voting for net negative tax contributors rather than it merely being any welfare recipients?
