@victoriablck did you see @DDB_Worldwide couldn't even find a #blackdesigner in their company to create "The Black Lives Matter font"? Also, the font is terrible. That "V"?? #wherearealltheblackdesigners

@AgentAsh3000 No... I eat the one heel on my way out of the store because it's the best part, then I leave the other for whoever wants it and admire myself for leaving one end for someone else

An interesting read. Nice to see the trends I've predicted for the past couple years are coming to fruition... my biggest problem is you spelled "Konbini" wrong @Eater @timothyjforster Japanese Convenience Stores Are Heading to America. Sort Of eater.com/2019/6/19/1868… via @Eater

When @JustinChapple first brought these 'nduja toasts with quick pickled celery out of the F&W test kitchen, the whole batch was devoured by staffers within minutes. We expect your party guests will feel the same: bit.ly/2OtoofL

@mmaggeler Very nice read. I prefer Castelvetrano fresh and room temp. Also, for the record, I know someone who thought it was " for all in tents, and purposes"

Court papers served at Shinbashi Sushi bit.ly/2RhSwr3 I don't know the back story, but from living in Japan, the idea of calling something Shimbashi Sushi, from a brand perspective, is funny. It's like calling a burger joint in Tokyo "Herald Square Hamburgers" #branding

@SamSifton tangential to my DOJO comments, I'm willing to bet San Loco was the first restaurant in NYC (possibly state) to sell chipotle flavored anything. I still remember... it was around '99. I pronounced it CHI-POH-TUL. Changed my life

@MikeIsaac @SamSifton I just spent the most time I've ever spent on twitter replying to people's thoughts on DOJO in NYC closing for good... I'm happy to report it was time well spent

@TheDustyRebel Yes! I can honestly say I have not eaten at Dojo in at least 10 years, but I did go there the day after my (GF at the time's) senior prom, and after spending prom night at the St. Mark's Hotel. RIP

@SamSifton @mehpatrol RIP. Dojo was my first realization carrot could be part of a dressing not just part of a salad. Possibly the first time I had fresh ginger. I was never even vegetarian or vegan (had many friends who were), but ate there so many times. That is, until Kate's Joint opened...
