Thanks to Cara Hardwick & @mrc_foundation for providing @StableWorkers with free flu shots at @Mornington & @MelbRacingClub this past 2 weeks. At this time it’s the small things that matter to stable staff when they are often forgotten about. #StableStaff #KeepRacingGoing

@MartinPakulaMP racing minister, @timpallas industrial relations minister, when will you and the @DanielAndrewsMP @VictorianLabor Gov address the rampant wage theft occurring throughout Victorian thoroughbred racing as well as % of prize money for @StableWorkers in VIC like NSW

When are @RacingInsider going to get serious about @StableWorkers in racing. %prize money would go a long way yet Jockeys get extra $100k. @austrainers will struggle to find staff as wages and conditions are declining rapidly. Time to change or have no one at all.

@RacingInsider @TheValley @FlemingtonVRC @MelbRacingClub any reason a photographer whom takes photos of Strappers for Strappers keeps getting told to put his camera away every time he goes to your courses He does it for love not $ and @StableWorkers love his photos It’s not $100K

A casual employee doesn’t automatically become a permanent employee just because they’ve worked regular hours for the business for a set period of time. But their award or agreement might have a minimum process for requesting it. Find out here. fairwork.gov.au/employee-entit…

@StableWorkers @AntlerLuggageOz Agree totally - This is why we have included a Strappers trophy in our presentations to the winners of the Eliza Thompson Cup tomorrow at Albury. All levels of our industry deserve recognition. #sharingiscaring #respectforstablestaff

Imagine going away on business and check in to find you are sharing a room with a complete stranger and the beds are set up like this. Is that acceptable? It supposedly is for racing staff staying at Ayr. @ayrracecourse @BHAPressOffice @RacingPost
