@yumruksaymaz2 @DoveTail262 @FlawedImp @NousResearch hell yeah. I recommend just giving it a try because it takes no time to setup unlike openclaw… so there’s no reason you shouldn’t just give it a try
Codex Desktop and other frontier models are slowly integrating the tools already built into Hermes. Everything else is cloud-hosted, while Hermes runs on your device, is fully customizable, and still works flawlessly out of the box. I swear it takes 15 minutes to use once you connect any of your AI accounts with OAuth (no tokens needed, just a monthly subscription. Even the cheap $20/month plans work; just monitor your usage limits).
Yeah, it's all self-hosted, but I just link my xAI and Codex accounts. Its personality is stored on my device so all the context is kept when even when i switch the model i’m using. I'm running it on a 6-year-old Dell Latitude that's probably worth $200 right now. It uses the models I linked, so you don't need crazy hardware and self-host models. It's basically a harness for other models.
