@stephanieinnes I’m at different chain now and I love it. I’m happier. I can do my work. I can LEAVE work on time. I still help other stores out that are short. Leadership makes the world of difference
@stephanieinnes Covid pandemic showed the cracks in our healthcare system. They didn’t make them they were always there. Retail pharmacies try to act like super heroes and keep taking on more but we are at the breaking point. All pharmacies are under strain
@stephanieinnes All in all it made it a depressing and soul grinding job not cause we don’t care but cause we do and are not able to get the help we need to do our job properly.
@stephanieinnes This particular store is a beast in its own right but it shouldn’t have been. With proper (and trained staff) it should have been manageable. All most all the staff were less than a year with company.
@stephanieinnes There is a lack of actual leadership and connection with upper management especially in the scottsdale district. We had gotten redistricted in summer. New DM was not a good fit or thrown in over head
@stephanieinnes CVS system for budgeting staffing is flawed and not able to adjust enough or when it does increase you don’t have staff to do anything anyway. To get the hrs you MUST do everything a certain way and only during opening hrs otherwise it cuts hrs and you trying to help, hurt self
@stephanieinnes It was but once we added covid testing through drive-thru and covid vaccines the strain was becoming too much. You add staffing issues due to illness, vacation, injury etc. it brings the pharmacy to a screaming halt and we are survival mode
@stephanieinnes My former store. Had to walk away. That’s why things got worse but I couldn’t hold things together any more. I’m sorry. I hope they get their issues fixed
@PatriciaBrooks I’m so sorry Patricia. This is why I couldn’t work there anymore. It wasn’t right. What you guys didn’t know before I left is I was working 17hr days or more to keep things going. I begged for help and received no support from upper management. Hardest decision I had to do.
@SteveSchmidtSES And yet some didn’t and faced the risk.... moral integrity is lacking and they just want to save their hides. Truth is they got power hungry and gambled to keep it.
@Cleavon_MD On positive I have been helping with team to give vaccines and got mine Monday. Essential workers need to check county sites cause you can get your vaccine and pinal county doing teachers
@Cleavon_MD Hey I have been well crazy busy here and just saw the news on what happened at hospital. They are idiots and foolish to extreme. I am forced to go at max at work too and see more and more COVID treatment scripts here too. Company says if positive still work if asymptomatic here.

@Editor_of_Books @DrLindaMD Exactly keep calm act like no big deal. When you get anxious your dog thinks he/she has reason to be anxious too (even if it is for diff reasons). Also can try little valerian root to calm dog down.
@MrsPA_C Sorry unfortunately good help is hard to come by.. too much turn over, not enough training, short staffed etc plus our system can suck in general. My best advice is try to get to know staff and pharmacists and learn which ones take care of shit. Then ask for them every time
