Welcome to Magisterium: Academ, the cozy Journaling game set in a world renowned magic school! I have just released Magisterium: Academ and it can be found here on itch starling-press.itch.io/magisterium-ac… Check it out! #solorpg #journaling #journalinggame #indiettrpg #gmless

It's been a while since i posted anything on my website (or on here), but with Magisterium coming out tomorrow i thought it was about time I posted a little update. check out this post about all the nonsense I've dealt with this past year! wix.to/WPuE4u7

Second wave of agent queries sent out. Added some American fantasy agents to this batch as it’s a fantasy western so might appeal more over there. That’s 52 sent and 6 rejections received so far. #WriterCommunity #querytime

I have now sent out my first wave of agent queries. of the 19 I had listed for wave 1 I sent of 18 as one isn't currently accepting fantasy. Next step? curl up in a little ball of anxiety and wait.

For the first time in about 10 years I am about to start querying agents with my book The Gentleman. I've got the docs ready, I've done my research. Wish me luck. #WritingCommunity

I'm down to 1 page on my synopsis (748 words) but I'm not sure it's 'good' anymore. I know I need to treat it like a business document, but its tough XD I still need to cut it down some more as some sites are asking for 1.5 line spaced and it is just a basic word doc.

NOW the latest pass of Wild Card is done and I'm ready to start sending it to agents. 6 years in the making, fingers crossed and wish me luck. #WritingCommunity

Yesterday was my last official day at Roll7...

A quick update abotu my Instagram account moving forward wix.to/5y6RpEt #newblogpost #instagram #books # indieauthor #selfpublished #writingcommunity

Wild Card Book 1 Chapter 1 major edits completed! 6 new chapters to write and 18 more chapters to do major edits on, but this is a good start.

Spent this afternoon in a presentation from UR guy on our FTUE. I'm now doing editing on my fantasy wild west novel and I realised that both the game and the novel had the exact same problem; the ftue is too front loaded and too tell not enough show #gamedev #WritingCommunity

It's been a while since my last update so here's what's new with Starling Press! wix.to/bhvPc7j #newblogpost #indieauthor #update #writingcommunity

Next step is to make those edits and re-read it as an edit pass. This read pass I just did was on kindle to read it like a reader, this next one will be on pc so I can make edits as I go. I also think it might be a bit short so potentially need to add a new plotline or plotpoint.

Finished Rereading WC1 in prep to submit it to agents... I have some notes Don't get me wrong it's still a good book with a good story and arc, but there's plenty to fix. I wrote it 6 years ago and I've grown plenty. Grown out of some bad habits and gained a bunch of good habits.

First pass of my solo cozy magic school journaling rpg is complete along with a play test. Learned some stuff about what I did and am gonna simplify it, but first I'm going to let it rest for a little while and work on other things before I return to it.

The news about Matthew Perry has hit me harder than any celebrity death. From Chandler Bing to Matt Albie every one of his characters resonated with me. His wit and charm shined so brightly even through his troubles. My love to those who knew him and are grieving. Goodbye Matt.
