@StevenDickens3 @MistyMVD @IBMZ I think we do agree! The disagreement may just be semantics. I interpreted “you can’t be pro-mainframe and pro-AWS” as “if you’re pro-AWS than you’re anti-mainframe.” But you acknowledge the value of commodity cloud for certain workloads AND are undoubtedly still pro-mainframe.

@StevenDickens3 @MistyMVD @IBMZ To me, that means you’re pro-AWS and pro-mainframe. They’re not mutually exclusive. It just depends on what’s appropriate for the client. That being said, I think we can all agree that Z is the superior platform 😄

@StevenDickens3 @MistyMVD My intention was never to question your dedication to customer success, and I apologize that I came off that way. I was trying to mirror your “you can’t be pro-__ and pro-__at the same time” phrase while making the point that client success transcends any one product or solution.

@StevenDickens3 @MistyMVD @MicroFocusCDMS @AWS_Partners @IBMZ “Either you are a Mainframer or you are not” is a great way to make people feel welcome on IBM Z. /s This black and white, all or nothing mindset is toxic and unproductive. The world is complex. IBM has embraced the diversity of an evolving cloud ecosystem. Can you?
