I think Elon Musk is a visionary. Almost singlehandedly, he’s changed the way Americans think about automobiles. I have a Tesla and love it. That said, he’s been a terrible fit for Twitter. He appears to be making it up as he goes along.
@StephenKing Tesla's were great. Now they are more "great again", unfortunately. Lucky there are alternatives.
@StephenKing @beezknez Elon Musk did not create Tesla. Tesla was incorporated in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning as Tesla Motors. Elon Musk did not invent anything.
@StephenKing @sandibachom Quick note: Tesla was not Elon's invention, nor was its flagship model, the Tesla S. It was designed by Peter Rawlinson and his team. Peter left Tesla to start his own EV company, Lucid Air. They build a far better EV too. More range, better fit and finish, better materials 👍
@StephenKing Musk is more than a “bad fit.” He’s consistently pushing RW conspiracies and Fox News toxicity. He’s chosen a side and it’s not democracy.
@StephenKing The cars are amazing. People have been trying to destroy Tesla since the beginning. Now a new army has been drafted into the fight. Sad to see so many people on Twitter trashing a great company.
@StephenKing I mean, you write books. You make things up as you go along for a living… 😂😂😂
@StephenKing Steve try not to confuse ‘making things up as you go along’ with ‘trying things and seeing how they work’. One way gives negative connotation the other way gives positive light. I believe it’s the latter @elonmusk
@StephenKing As someone who’s studying/ halfway though a software engineering degree - I think his engineering style is a right on point. In order to do something right you have to eliminate invaluable options. That often requires trial and error. You won’t ever land a rocket the first time.
@StephenKing That’s how he works. Just have patience. It’s iterative rapid improvement.
