Got a chance to check these out last week. They’re even better in person. I’m a big fan of what the Mets did here. Well thought-out, slick design, cool Easter eggs everywhere.

@SteveGelbs what are your thoughts on the rally pimp ?
@SteveGelbs They’re not awful. As Martino would say, they’re pimping that look. But given how dark they are, can they replace the abominable gimmicky black unis and consign them forever to the ash bin of history where they belong?? Pinstripes, blues, city connect concrete, road grays.
@SteveGelbs the details are amazing but we arent up close. they have to look good on tv - thats where this design fails 😭
@SteveGelbs A new generation of Furies, ready to pick up the mantle for the underrated park prowlers of yore.
@SteveGelbs This was a nice one too
@SteveGelbs I love everything about them - extremely well thought out - form 7 line subway color and shapes the queens borough bridge designs to token, to the big NYC letters like sky scrapers and the throwback Mets road uni! I l💜it!
@SteveGelbs Based on the concrete of the city bro? For real?
@SteveGelbs Love the thought behind it but feel it needs to say Queens, not NYC (and I was born and raised in Brooklyn)
