🚨The MIFEMISO trial, carried out by our team at @unibirmingham and funded by @NIHRresearch showed that using 2 medications instead of one can improve the success rate of treatment for missed miscarriage, minimising the need for further treatment including surgery 💗🌟
Findings from our National Centre for Miscarriage Research have led to changes in @NICEComms guidelines for management of missed miscarriage.📣 We expect 2,800 fewer women & birthing people will need surgery every year thanks to this change. Read more: bit.ly/4aayh7w
