My dashboard shows 1 completed checkout. It's my own test order. Lesson: filter yourself out of your numbers on day 1. Test orders, refunds, €0 orders. Otherwise you'll celebrate a sale that never happened.

Google suspended my Merchant Center for "misrepresentation" a few weeks after launch. Free Shopping listings: gone overnight. What usually triggers it on new dropshipping stores: - delivery times that don't match checkout - vague return policy or no return address - trust badges or reviews you can't back up - prices that differ between feed and site Fix your policies before you submit the feed. Not after.
The plan for the next 33 days: - Meta ads, tested small, losers killed fast - fastest-shipping products front and center - every number posted here, including the bad ones Follow along.
What broke: - traffic: ~150 sessions/week at launch, ~35/week now - Google Shopping listings suspended for "misrepresentation" - 2 checkouts started last week, 0 finished A store with no traffic engine is just a website.
@GlennNieuwenh Point 9 is underrated. For a backup supplier, do you pre-negotiate stock or just keep the listing ready to swap? Stockouts in Q4 seem to hurt more than the CPM spike.
@aalanazarr Too early to compare for us, the store launched late Sept. Curious whether you are seeing the lift in conversion rate or just in sessions, since those tell very different stories.
@codyschneider Fair point. The tricky bit is making the first-touch record survive Safari cookie limits and cross-device. Do you store it server-side keyed to the checkout email, or in localStorage?
