America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating. Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground. The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves. It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors. Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence. True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over. Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market. We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

This American had Chase Bank for his personal and business account He woke up to a bunch of notifications his bank had been disconnected to all his apps He calls Chase they informed him his accounts were closed to he went into the bank. They wouldn’t help him or give him the money in his account even though his bills are due in 3 days. They say he has to wait for a check to be sent that could take up to 2 weeks “They decided to terminate my account for suspicious activity and security concerns. They couldn't give me any more information. Last time I checked, there was nothing unusual going on. They said they reserve the right to at any time, they don't have to provide any more information. I have no idea what this means. Right now I have zero money” This is why we can never let go of cash. When the banking industry does things like this, if we don’t have cash as an option you can be left with no money And Chase Bank is correct, under the law they don’t have to tell you anything or give you any details to why they closed your account Federal law forbids them from telling you that they did it or what triggered it. As a pilot for 20 years I have questions: - where are the cabin crew here? - where are the oxygen masks that automatically drop during a rapid emergency descent? - how did the Capt manage to open the door while being stabbed? - Omani pilots were not allowed to fly to Israel, why was he allowed? - how did the offending pilot get a weapon onboard? - why has this happened so close to elections? - how are passengers walking around while apparently in a nosedive? - who else was injured? Nose dives cause significant g force incidents - why is there two perfectly positioned people recording the incident and not helping? - why did a plumber take control and not the 2 pilots onboard who would certainly know when an aircraft was in a nosedive? - why was the plumber speaking in English to Bibi after the flight - why was he still in his blood soaked clothes 8 hours after the incident False Flags have been a very effective mechanism to influence public opinion Hitler burnt down the Reichstag just before his parliament elections and he won the election…changing the course of history. HYPOTHETICALLY… IF I BOUGHT MY HOUSE FOR $125,000 IN 2002 AND THE COUNTY NOW SAYS IT’S WORTH $487,000, WHERE DID I ACTUALLY MAKE $362,000? Did I sell it? No. Did I receive $362,000? No. Did somebody hand me a check for the new assessed value? Obviously not. But my property taxes still go up because, on paper, my house is suddenly worth hundreds of thousands more. That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me. This isn’t income. It isn’t cash sitting in my bank account. It’s a number someone assigned to my property, and now I’m being billed based on that number. If my stock portfolio doubles but I don’t sell, I haven’t turned that gain into cash. If my salary stays the same, I don’t suddenly owe more income tax because someone thinks I’m worth more. So why does owning a home work differently? WHY AM I PAYING TAX ON A GAIN I NEVER REALIZED? A house isn’t just an investment. It’s where people live. You can pay off the mortgage, own the property outright, and still face a bigger bill every year because the value of the house went up on paper. At some point, you have to ask what “owning” something actually means if the cost of keeping it can keep rising because of money you never received. THIS ISN’T ABOUT WHETHER THE HOUSE IS “WORTH” MORE. IT’S ABOUT BEING CHARGED FOR VALUE YOU NEVER TURNED INTO CASH. And people are starting to notice.
