WordPress again today. Trying to build a website with it, but it's not easy. There's certainly a learning curve with WP. I'll get it figured out though. #codingphase

Tried for hours to force WordPress to make the layout I wanted. It did not work. Then I discovered Elementor. That seems to be an improvement. I will continue with that tomorrow. #codingphase

Earlier today I watched the HTML/CSS workshop about positioning. Probably the best explanation I've ever seen. Then I started the CMS part of the curriculum. Having fun with it. #codingphase

I finished the challenges for the HTML/CSS course project tonight. I have some questions about issues I had with positioning that I will ask in the workshop Wednesday night. Looking forward to getting on with the next part of the curriculum. #codingphase

I got the course project done. But there is a challenge to add more sections to the content. So, I'm done, but not really. Because I want to get that practice in and add those extra sections. I will work on those tomorrow. #codingphase

Tonight I finished all but the responsiveness of the course project. It was my first time adding a dark mode to a project. I didn't know it would be that easy or that I would have so much control over the colors. It's freakin' awesome! #codingphase

Tonight I finished the side navigation for my course project. I also sat in on the HTML/CSS workshop and that was pretty cool. I am excited about all the stuff I've been learning and the confidence I'm gaining. CodingPhase is awesome. #codingphase

Tonight I finished the header section of the project. It took me a few minutes to realize how to do the challenge at the end of that part. CSS selectors can be quite specific. Always remember that. #codingphase

Got the course project started today. I'm just halfway through the header. I feel like I'm crawling at a snail's pace. My understanding is getting better though. The way this course is taught, I already feel more confident than I ever have before. #codingphase
