OpenAI is reportedly closing in on a funding round of up to $30B at a $1.25T valuation before the new money is counted. UAE investors and Coatue are expected to lead the round, which could serve as a bridge to a potential 2027 IPO. OpenAI is also negotiating a UAE deal to secure more computing capacity. The round is still being finalized. At this scale, raising capital and securing compute are becoming part of the same strategy.

Tesla just crossed a line it’s never crossed before. $TSLA has started producing Optimus robots on high volume lines at Fremont, and says these are the first production quality bots it has ever built. OpenAI will make its models available to developers through Google Cloud, per CNBC, after years of going head to head with $GOOGL. Before this, compute was the bottleneck and distribution is the moat. OpenAI gets more places to sell its models. Google Cloud gets another reason for developers to stay on its platform, even while pushing Gemini.

Tesla Reports Q3 earnings today after the close. Numbers drop around 4:07 PM ET, call starts at 5:30 PM ET. Options are pricing a 5.36% move in either direction. Meta just reported Q3 earnings. Revenue: $64.6B vs $63.4B expected, a clean beat. EPS: $3.83. They also landed above the top of its own $61B to $64B revenue guidance, so the ad machine is still running hot. $META $QQQ

A senior security official told Press TV that Tehran has made a “definitive decision” to respond without limits or restraint, with its military on highest alert. Netanyahu is reportedly pushing to hit Iran’s military and nuclear sites before Israel’s October 27 election, and weighing a strike without Washington’s backing. Trump reportedly halted a planned multi day bombing campaign at the last minute to avoid a wider war before the midterms. $SPY $USO
