The biggest obstacles to an effective western response to Russian political disinformation are: 1) The political weaponizing of the disinformation label. 2) Willful blindness towards Israeli disinformation. We need a transparent & objective response to scaled disinformation.

Ray3, from @LumaLabsAI, seems to be basically a visual story model that outputs at the scene level. It apparently reasons in a sort of 'visual physics' and is as consistent as camera-shot video. We're nearing an explosion of genuinely compelling video storytelling.

The flaw in the "if we don't build it then the Chinese will" argument about very powerful AI is that it implies that you trust unknown, unpredictable, very powerful AI more than you trust the Chinese. We should probably trust AI less than we trust the Chinese.
