Examples of good debt: mortgage, home equity loan or line of credit, student loan, small business loan. Examples of bad debt: credit cards, payday loans (very bad idea), automobile loans.

Notes on retirement funds: Start investing in them as soon as you can, put away at least 10% of your monthly income into them, and do not touch for as long as you can.

I plan on nailing down the stock market vocabulary in the very near future, as soon as tomorrow potentially, as well as create a spreadsheet of the resources I currently have that I look at from time to time. I have had my computer read me, "The Little Book That Beats The Market"

I took a bit of a hiatus from learning finance to focus on computer science related topics (I am definitely considering merging these two things together as a career path!) but when I saw Tesla stock go up pretty significantly in February 2020 my interest piqued again.

A little bit about myself: I am 27 years old, have lived in two states, have attended three different colleges (currently enrolled to go back to my second college in the Fall for a Finance degree), and changed my major four times now. I was originally an Accounting major.
