Profiting directly from music streams is basically dead. If you want to support artists the best thing you can do is donate directly either through Bandcamp or an artist's subscription / Patreon.

@BASSFACEDUBS People are barely being paid by anything except direct donation. If you want to support artists, cancel Spotify, rip their discogs, and then pay them 10-20 dollars directly on Bandcamp, Patreon, PayPal, etc The profits from music are being routed away from artists into whack shit
