We said goodbye to the Sudbury Sports Field at the end of last season along with 100 x years of sport in the village. 3 x months on, one of the best recreational facilities in the area now looks like a farm field.

Despite our best efforts, the National Trust have decided not to let Sudbury FC carry on using the Sudbury Sports Field, bringing 100 x years of sport within Sudbury to an end. This despite their claims of 'building stronger relations within the local community'.

Hixon FC 5-2 Sudbury FC An early goal and a good start fell apart for Sudbury after gifting soft fouls on the edge of the box. The defeat was softened by 2 quality goals for @BradCope8, the latter coming from the half way line. Good intensity but poor result. 🦁🐗

Sudbury FC 0-3 Alton FC This morning saw us take on our former Div 2 counterparts in a well contested cup match Sudbury started well, going into the break at 0-0 but after a dubious penalty was awarded at 60 mins we were twice caught out at the back chasing the game late on 🐗
