Pretty incredible. CA’s 20 largest fires are illustrated here. The total from 20 and 21 represent 60% of the acres burned. 2000 to 2019 is 40%. Moral of the story: burned area grows exponentially in response to increased aridity. What do you think will happen in coming years?
