Although I truly feel as though I went through hell with all my medical issues the past year, I am hoping I am finally on the up with my recovery. They removed my trach this morning and I hope to be in a rehab center much closer to my sons next week.

I have went from having a trach put in my neck and doctors telling my family to just pull the plug, to looking at having the trach pulled Tuesday and letting the hole close up and getting one step closer to going home. God is good…

I got measured for my motorized wheelchair today. Said it will take 3 months to get to me. I am still 4 1/2 hours from home and have a hole in my neck. Count your blessings each day. I know I do.
